Since high school, Katareen Diaz has captivated audiences with her powerful voice. She first gained attention touring regionally in Florida with her acoustic duo, McCall and Katareen, before moving to Nashville to pursue her dreams in music. There, she attended Belmont University’s prestigious School of Music, earning a degree in Commercial Vocal Performance with a focus on songwriting. Under the guidance of some of the nation’s top music professors, Katareen honed her natural talent and elevated her artistry to new heights.
Today, Katareen is a songwriter and performer in Nashville, creating and sharing her original music with the world. Her debut single, Late Bloomer, was written on the sun-kissed beaches of Florida and serves as a heartfelt tribute to the places she’s called home. The song celebrates her journey, one of growth, resilience, and the blossoming career she’s built.
Inspired by the simple wonders of creeks and flowers and the raw emotions of humanity, Katareen Diaz brings a free-spirited sound to country music. Her lighthearted songs have the familiar sweetness of legends such as Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn.
